PRO-10 deploys more personnel to secure polls, while 200 personnel arrived from PRO-7 for election duties

Police Regional Office (PRO) 10 deploys personnel performing administrative duties in the region, and those undergoing training, to supplement the number of police officers assigned in the cities and municipalities.

The maximum deployment of PNP personnel for the upcoming midterm elections will form part of the PNP’s plan to ensure a safe and fair Election.

This augmentation force includes police recruits, students of the Regional Training School in Patag, Cagayan de Oro City and the Special Training Unit in Damilag, Bukidnon, and other PNP personnel assigned in the national support units.

Cops recover a Korean national kidnapped in Iligan

Members of Iligan City Public Safety Company responded to a reported kidnapping that occurred at Hong Jek Merchandise, Quezon Avenue, Iligan City. The incident took placeat about 7PM, May 5, 2013.

Ms. Yeung Ting Ting, 45 years old, Korean National, was abducted by six (6) unidentified suspects.

She was forcibly brought inside a red Toyota Lite -Ace bearing Plate Number GSH-351.

Immediately, the responding police officers established a blocking point along C-3 Road, Brgy Santa Elena, Iligan City where the subject vehicle was intercepted.

Police files multiple murder and multiple frustrated murder cases on suspects of the Nunungan incident

Sixteen (16) suspects involved in the attack of Mayor Abdul Manamparan and his convoy were charged for Multiple Murder and Multiple Frustrated Murder at the provincial prosecutor’s office of Lanao del Norte.

PRO-10 created the Special Investigation Task Group (SITG), which positively identified the suspects based on evidence recovered from the crime scene, and the testimonies of credible witnesses.
