PRO-10 Celebrates 22nd PNP Founding Anniversary

Police Regional Office 10 celebrates the 22nd PNP Foundation Day on February 4, 2013 in Camp 1Lt Vicente Alagar, Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro City with PDIR MANUEL REBUGIO BARCENA, MNSA, Director for Integrated Police Operations-Eastern Mindanao, as Guest of Honor and Speaker.  

The highlights of the activity included the presentation of awards to the following Police Commissioned Officers, Police Non-Commissioned Officers, and members of the community who contributed to the success of PRO-10’s operational and administrative activities:

PRO-10 completes the 5-day e-Rogues’and e-Warrant System’s Training

Facilitators from the PNP Directorate for Investigation and Detective Management (DIDM) and Information Technology Management System (ITMS) in Camp Crame, Quezon City completed the Five-Day e-Rogues’ and e-Warrant  System’s Training held at the Multi-Purpose Hall, Camp Alagar, Lapasan, Cagayan De Oro City.  

Two hundred thirty four (234) police officers with basic computer knowledge consisted the participants of the training which formally closed last February 1, 2013 at about 5:00 PM. PSSUPT JERRY C LINSAGAN, Chief, Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division took the brief milieu and purpose of e-Rogues’ Gallery and e-Warrant System, as part of the PNP’s e-Projects.

PRO-10 hosts the first RJSCC Coordinating Conference presided by the new Regional Election Director

Senior officers from PRO-10 and the Philippine Army’s 1st and 4th Infantry Divisions attended the Regional Joint Security Control Center (RJSCC) coordinating conference which started at about 9AM of January 29, 2013 at the Multipurpose hall of Camp Alagar, Cagayan de Oro City.

This was the first activity presided by ATTY. NILO R. PIPO who has recently taken the post as the new Election Director in Northern Mindanao. He is at the same time Chairman of RJSCC.

The meeting was held to assess the preparations of government security forces in ensuring a secure and fair 2013 midterm elections.

Pursuant to COMELEC Resolution No. 9571, the PNP and AFP are deputized to assist COMELEC in its security preparations for the elections. RJSCC is an organization in the region which shall be responsible for the issuance of temporary security details (TSDs) and the implementation of the ban on the bearing, carrying or transporting of firearms and the employment, availment or engagement of security personnel in the region. Provincial JSCCs are likewise organized in the provinces headed by Provincial Election Supervisors.
