Change of Command Ceremony

On or about 240800 January 2013, the activity started with the Arrival Honors to the Outgoing Regional Director, Incoming Regional Director and Guest of Honor and Speaker of said event.

Right after, it was followed by the Change of Command Ceremony proper which began with an invocation by PSUPT JOEL B BARALLAS, Regional Chaplain; followed by the Presentation of Troops/Trooping the Line; Welcome Remarks by PSSUPT LYNDEL ALPUERTO DESQUITADO, DRDA; Presentation of Award to the Outgoing Regional Director administered by PDIR AGER P ONTOG, JR, TADCO; Reading of the Relief and Designation Orders by PSSUPT MADID MARICOR PAITAO, OIC, RPHRDD; Relinquishment of Command and Valedictory Address by PCSUPT GIL JAMILA HITOSIS, Outgoing Regional Director; Assumption of Command by PCSUPT CATALINO BAGASLAO RODRIGUEZ, JR, Acting Regional Director; Turnover of Command Symbol, Property Book and Equipment Inventory administered by  PDIR AGER P ONTOG, JR, TADCO; Inaugural Speech and Introduction of the Guest of Honor and Speaker by PCSUPT  CATALINO BAGASLAO RODRIGUEZ, JR, Acting Regional Director; Inspirational Message by PDIR AGER P ONTOG, JR, TADCO; Presentation of Plaque of Appreciation and Memento to the Guest of Honor and Speaker by PCSUPT  CATALINO BAGASLAO RODRIGUEZ, JR, Acting Regional Director and finally, the Presentation of Memento to the Outgoing Regional Director by PSSUPT LYNDEL ALPUERTO DESQUITADO, DRDA.

Visit of The Chief, PNP in Cagayan de Oro City

On 281735 December 2012, PDG ALAN LA MADRID PURISIMA, C, PNP and party arrived at Lumbia Airport, Cagayan de Oro City via Cebu Pacific Flight 5J 391. The VIP and party were welcomed by PCSUPT GIL JAMILA HITOSIS, RD, PRO 10, PSSUPT ANTONIO MONTALBA, OIC, COCPO and other PRO 10 Officers. They immediately proceeded to Mallberry Suites Business Hotel for rest overnight.

The arrival honor was rendered to the C, PNP at about 290820 Dec 2012 at PRO 10 Headquarters. Afterwhich, the C, PNP talked to the officers and men of this PRO emphasizing the responsibilities of every PNP personnel in delivering good and quality service to the community. The C, PNP spearheaded at about 0850H of same date the ground breaking ceremony together with RD, PRO10 for the construction of Multi-Purpose Covered Court held at PRO10 Basketball Court. Afterwards, RSOTG Commanders Coordinating Conference was conducted at PRO 10 Multi-Purpose Hall with PDG ALAN LA MADRID PURISIMA, C, PNP, as the presiding officer attended by TG Commanders on Legal Offensive, Firearms and Security Personnel, Inter-agency Coordination and Focused Police Operations, other NHQ Staff as well as Command Group, PDs, CDs, Battalion Commander, RPSB 10, D-staff, RCs, NSUs of PRO 10, Commander of JTF Ranao and PDIR FELICISIMO KHU, TDIPO-EM.

Visit of SILG MAR ROXAS

On 051900 December 2012, Hon Mar Roxas, SILG, arrived at Lumbia Airport, Cagayan de Oro City via Airport Challenger 850 N288ZZ. The VIP was welcomed by PCSUPT GIL JAMILA HITOSIS, RD, PRO 10, Rene K.Burdeos, RD, DILG 10 and other members of the DILG Family. The VIP and Party immediately proceeded to KAGAY-ANON Restaurant for dinner then rest overnight.

At about 060900 Dec 2012, a Conference was conducted at SP Session hall, Provincial Capitol, Cagayan de Oro City presided by Misamis Oriental Provincial Governor Oscar S. Moreno jointly with SILG Mar Roxas. Also in attendance were Usec. LualhatiAntonino, PCSUPT GIL J. HITOSIS, RD PRO 10, ATTY Rene K. Burdeos, RD, DILG, Ana Cañeda, RD, OCD and other members of the DILG family. A Situation Briefing was then presented by the OCD narrating the chronological event of the Tropical Cyclone “Pablo” as it hit Region 10 AOR and the corresponding actions undertaken by all members of the RDRRMC. Secretary Roxas in his message, extends his congratulations to all members of the PDRRMC for a job well done which resulted in a minimal casualty and destruction of property as compared to the other areas hit by Tropical Cyclone “Pablo”. He urged concerned Government agencies not to be complacent and always find measures to mitigate or minimize the impact brought by the predicted disaster. He further appeal to all not to be contented of the good results, instead try to analyze and assess the event by answering the following questions: What work and Why it work?; What didn’t work and why it didn’t work?
